* Users will have to enter the desired name for the application. * Select host on which to monitor the resource. This will display the resource types and corresponding    instances available. * Select the resource type and resource instance. Click on Add Resource. * When done with adding resources to an application, click "Done with adding resources". This will    commit   the application to the environment. * Oracle database resources can also be monitored. * VCM agent need not be running on the Oracle database host for this purpose. * The performance of the Oracle database is measured across 21 different parameters.
